Better yet, you work at a school while waiting for your kids at school.
You can work as a school or daycare office administrator. This way, you’ll know about your kids’ development or whereabouts too. Ask at your child’s school so they keep you in mind when a position becomes available.
4. Grab Small Jobs on Airtasker
Airtasker advertises small jobs that need doing by busy people who don’t have the time to do them. Do deliveries, bake a cake, edit an article or test a website. It can be very lucrative if you are consistent!

5. Swimming Instructor
Being a swimming instructor, you can choose to work at a specific time of the day (in your case, during school hours) so you can take care of your kids when they get home. Or you may want to be a swimming instructor at your kid’s school.
6. Teacher’s Aide
If you don’t have the credentials of being a classroom teacher, you can work in different support positions in your kid’s school such as being a teacher’s aide. What’s good about this job is that when your kids are on break for the summer, you are too, so there’s no need for childcare services, and you get to bond with your kids!

This is probably one of the most common jobs that SAHMs or WAHMs take. Being an online seller means you are in control of your time where you can work at your own pace. If you’re a tech-savvy and is really good at social media, try managing social media accounts. Some businesses hire social media managers to promote their businesses through Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms. This is quite a flexible job which is perfect for a SAHM.
9. Offer In-Home Daycare
You can try offering in-home daycare when your kids are at school. While this is a great opportunity for mums to earn at home, you need to get proper licence especially when you’re catering to more than one family.
10. Spray Tan Operator
If you rock at giving yourself a great tan at home, why not become a mobile tanning salon? You can work your own hours and equipment isn’t expensive to buy up front. You can charge from $20 – $50 per tan depending on your location and skillset.
